Summer Solstice is surprising dark in color with a deep amber tone and steady head. Nice coffee and caramel scents lift from the surface. The draw is smooth and almost neutral in flavor. A malt base quickly takes form paired with a creaminess that kicks in about half way and carries through the conclusion.
Summer Solstice summer cream ale is a nice rich, yet heavy beer. This cream ale may not be best consumed during the heat of the day. So, save Summer Solstice until after the sun crests the horizon for optimum enjoyment.
