Brewers Description of this American Summer Beer:
“With more than 2,800 bodies of water in the Adirondacks, it’s not too hard to find a sunny place to relax, rest your feet and look out over the water. To celebrate summer in the Adirondacks, we’ve brewed a beer with generous amounts of wheat malt for a light, refreshing taste. Look for subtle hints of lemon, orange and spice. Enjoy.”
Saranac American Summer Beer
Impressive
This is one of Saranac’s seven summer beers, which include Belgian White, Hefeweizen, Pale Pale Ale, Kolsch, Pomegranate Wheat, and Summer Brew. The color of Summer Ale is a clear gold with a stable head which gives off a medium lemon aroma. This American summer beer has a really even, clean refreshing draw. Summer Ale has a mild tartness which keeps the beer interesting and is semi-sweet with a clean finish. Floral flavors with earthy undertones are present from front to back. As the beer warms a little honey can be detected.
Saranac’s Summer Ale is impressive. Drinking Summer Ale from a glass is much preferred over drinking from the bottle. Select this beer to take to a summer dinner party or barbeque.
