As the cloudy bronze Lost Dune summer beer settles into a glass, a canopy of blueberry, lemongrass, and wheat aromas float above the surface. Tasting exposes a sharp front that transitions into a full somewhat creamy center. A semi-sweet back is characterized by some citrus, spice, and a drop of scotch. This summer fruit ale is oddly deficient of the signature blueberry, which could be prevalent at a slightly warmer temperature.
In any event, Lost Dune is remarkably tasty and powerfully delightful on a steamy summer evening.
